Tuesday: 9:00AM – 6:45PM

Sigh, came in late for my last lesson “Pattern Making” of my long Tuesday… came in 10 minutes late. We were meant to start at 2:15 started at 2:35 instead and as a punishment we weren’t allowed to have a 15 min break in this 4 hour and a bit lesson.

It was looong pattern making hour… made or rather altered two skirts…

I was amused by all the little things… such as the other table..

Sam and Ness was bumming, while Dustin got bored and ramages through the rack of clothing

Yea Tegan was staring at her paper while Katherine (I know I spelt it wrong on the image) was thinking of food.. like me…. Tegan was a delicious t-bone steak and Kat was a Ricotta … drools..

I know its disturbing..

My day ended…. Finally…

week two: TAFE Fashion Design

well today…

My timetable was changed I and start at 12 having only two classes today.. but I STILL had to come early because I haven’t finished my homework – just need to use the library printer… I was on the train reading “The Picture of Dorian Gray” in chapter 6 there were so many philosophical theories from Lord Henry, it was amazing and it was the peak of Dorian Gray’s love for Sibyl Vane (won’t say anymore for karina =D) that took so much time.

Got out and walked to TAFE caught Josh along the way as well!!

Bidding my farewell to Josh and stealing his gluestick, I dwindled around my homework for and 1hr at the library and yet I flung myself out of the library to get to class in 5 min.
When I got to the class of “Fashion Theory” also known as Production drawing, people are still outside..  why did I run (=O=) Chatted amongst ourselves and being fascinated of Josh’s mickey top and my Minnie top, being quite the coupling XD.

After that we settled for class listening to a 15min lecture then started working which is drawing openings/fastenings on a garment…

after that we had a 45 min break. Ended going up to Toby’s estate to get a mocha for lunch and at a home made sandwich.. delicious~ had a few chats with Theresa we all call her Tea =D.. Also I went and situated myself with Penelope, Catherine and Dustin….

Found out that Dustin.. shaved his hair once… because he went on a protest for his mother not giving him money for a decent haircut… (O_O) LMAO

Actually during the break, we were all suffering from anxiety attacks thinking Nicolas (our next class teacher) is going to criticize our  fashion illustrations that we are suppose to hand in today. When we got to class and sat down.. he told us to get our illustrations and pin it on the board behind us and have a class discussion….
with US as the critics… damn scary – everybody was like every… subtle with the comments

Bwahahaha, my artwork got quite the compliments XD though improvement on certain aspects
Mind you there were quite a few decent lookng artworks.. some obviously not as well done but can be improved. When it got to me I had to critise a .. not so nice drawing… and I was quite…. honest with my opinions I bet you anything everyone was thinking about my bluntness..

It was funny because the work I was giving criticism towards Sam’s work, one I was familiar with! A funny lad before I commented on anything ‘quote’ “it’s a great drawing.. the BEST” LOL no hard feelings Sam =D. By the way I just noticed today he had a tongue piercing and he wears color cons.. I NEVER NOTICED LOL, add to that a bar code tattoo, some letters across the left ear and dyed hair, he has got the lot.. cool guy!
and so forth the class ended with more H/W, went brought a British VOGUE magazine, and caught the “Peak Hour” train back home..

I shall be waking up at 9 tomorrow and seeing myself back at home at 7

The beginning of TAFE…

Hello minna-san,

Today was my first day at TAFE… yeah doesn’t sound great towards University students or parents… but to fashion students it was a big deal… At least I thought so….

I was at building E and met up with a classmate I was familiar with Alicia is her name… met her at orientation. It was nice seeing her again she’s delightful XD. I actually met … 4 other students today! I clicked with this dude called Josh it was funny because on our first lesson being “Textiles Fabrics selection” he was beside me I told Alicia.. I should introduce myself LOL so… I poked him to get his attention LOL and he smiled which is ALWAYS A GOOD SIGN YOPU KNOW… he was Chili fascinating isn’t it? I met another 3 students as well by the name of Sam, Penny and Katherine. Same was CANTO.. we had a good talk before the lesson started but then… it kind of died off LOL?

Anyhow that class was boring I felt like I learn the same thing in my textiles class. Seriously. Thank you Ms rich your the bomb because the notes she photo copied for me was in my textbook today, I felt like I was repeating textiles SERIOUSLY. Speaking of which I got to buy aloooooot of equipment like rulers and MORE portfolio I’m going to have like 5 portfolios or more this semester. This lesson ended at 11

The next lesson was at 12 so we had an hour break Alicia, Josh and me went to a coffee shop near by… Cappuccino was delectable~~ though it made me go pee quite a number of times… pissed me off… oh look at the analogy. And so the lesson began at 12 being “Fashion Theory” and I thought it was about fashion history actually it was just production drawing… for this week we are going to be drawing POCKETS… LIKE I SO DONT KNOW HOW TO DRAW… sorry but seriously it was really boring….

I must say my most amusing lesson was the 2:30 one, teachers name was Nicolas Huxley – director of fashion designing (oh it’s a big thing for us mere students)… “Trade Sketching” here I thought it was production drawing… But no it was in fact fashion illustration.. Once we got in he quickly said.. “I want you to sketch a full size realistic pencil drawing of a model from head to toe… has to be with legs” and before our butts got warm on the seats we got up to look at magz to find our model.. I found one which was quite decent….

While we were drawing he was making fun of everyone else’s drawing… it was hilarious e.g. “What are you drawing a body builder woman” “look at those legs, there granny legs”.. I got scolded on queue right after I thought he is not noticing me….he said that one part of my skirt is too low needs to be higher…

HE IS LIKE AN MS.RICH…. or may I say… THE MALE VERSION OF MS.RICH…

Too hilarious! Similar features of fussiness, mockery and bluntness… Thank god I got use to it…

In the end I didn’t finish the drawing so it’s my homework and due Monday… (Along with my production sketches and collage of.. pockets…)

A lot of the students work was really nice, up to standard at least… I must say I feel underhanded… Because of my age… I’m so young seriously everyone is 20…

Longest entry in a while..

I got 9HEADS fashion illustration book today from TAFE too… so mad

Finally a fashion student… from only one day..? I already feel the pain…

too hot..

There really isn’t anything interesting to blog today, except for the fact that I woke up on a hot summer day.. (ITS TOO HOT FCKER).

This entry has been idle for a while, I went to get some sticky rice walked over to turn on my TV and i still haven’t typed anything useful to this blog.

I was out yesterday, and (to karina) if you are reading it, i brought the skirt that we were looking at the other day (black and white checkered lace).

I was looking at what I brought for the past month or so including November i rboguht heaps of clothing and accessories its… scary, I plan to stop shopping for the enxt monthsss like check this out.

• 4 dresses
• 3 heels
• 3 skirts
• 2 blouses
• 2 brackletes
• 2 hats
• 2 singlets
• 2 shirts
• 2 rings
• 1 bag / scarf / sunnies

TOO MUCH FOR ONE PERSON… anyway I plan the next weeks doing my commisions and  getting my licence.. all the more serious stuff I guess.

now this is my list of USEFUL STUFF:

• copic markers (heard i can get them from Dennis’s sister in Japan bwahah)
• possibly a sewing machine
• a shibuya A3 bag (like seriously I can fit at lest 3 portoflios in that O_O)
• fashion books – Victor&Rolf or Fashion Illustrations

Cam back hoem not long ago so going to eat some dumplings.

The Golden Afternoon

I was flipping through the pages of Lewis Carroll, and so I typed it as my title. Really, I got nothing scheduled today.. well supposably it should but got moved to a Wednesday night. Actually my cousin scouted/commissioned me (older than me quite a bit) to sketch infamous places of America to send to a little girl, it’s for Charity~~Cousin is a member of the Charity program to sponser the little girl with a bunch of friends, because of the little girl’s  low esteem in her inability to walk only to be found in a wheel chair… to her -  she is unable to travel overseas. Mmm some people know that I have been contemplating on whether i should go TAFE or UNSW?UTS I have decided to TAFE it. To be honest when i was doing this charity cause fo drawing sceneric views and interior architecture, it.. really annoyed me.. (￣┏┓￣) as thought i like drawing curvy things.. not paraelle(sp?) or repeating things like windows and grass  .

So looking forward to my TAFE  Fashion Diploma course, also gettting quite excited i wonder what types of bitchy arrogant people there are!

LOL I forgot IPT.. but the exam was pretty good.. from what i remember….
textiles exam… was… weird… enough said. LOL practically the whole textiles class was at the TAS staff room after the exam.. dicussing answers with ms.rich… supposably i got things right ? omg i dont know （～￣3￣） ahh..

at the end of the exam i wen to fetch my major works.. wellt he “rest” of my major works.. IVE GOT ALLT HE DRAWINGS HOME hohoho…

I shall take good pics of them myself ヾ（ ´ー｀）…..

I think i’ve gotten lazy in blogging again.. LOL it’s just not my nature to go on a blog frequently maybe… I can’t eb bothered by textiles… this is bad (=_=) and it’s my only subject that I can get higher marks on?

well I’ll coem back later today to see how I think I went…
